Description

Friedwald Center is looking for a Part-Time Activities Assistant to help with the day-to day activities and programs in our Long-Term Skilled Nursing Facility.

Schedule:

Parttime from 9am 1pm, working every other weekend

Essential Job Functions:

Assist the activities director in planning, organizing, and implementing various activities.
Meet resident needs and interests, taking into account the abilities and physical limitations of each individual resident.
Participation in the resident's plan of care and documents residents specific interests and participation.
Document attendance at activities.
Work with volunteer staff to ensure smooth operations of activities programs.

Requirements:

Must be an energetic individual who can assist in various activities in both small and large group settings
At least 1 year experience in running/assisting group programs while interacting well with different personalities preferred
Must have a friendly and outgoing personality that enjoys helping the elderly
