    The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and comfortable environment in assisting with overall upkeep of property common areas, vacant apartments, and communal spaces

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


    Dust and polish fixtures, surfaces, and furnitureSweep, mop, wax, and/or vacuum floorsRemove debris and trash from all office receptacles and property trash cans, if there is not a GroundskeeperWipe down doors and windowsExamine rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to managementClean out globes over light fixturesInventory stock to ensure adequate supplies for the week's workOrder supplies by notifying Maintenance SupervisorObtain list of vacant roomsTurn clean, during non-transition timeBe respectful of residents living in open bedroomsEducation/Experience:Prior housekeeping or similar experience helpfulHigh school diploma or equivalentPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for long periods of time;Ability to use hands and fingers;Ability to speak, see, and hear;Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull;Ability to lift up to 25 pounds;Ability to walk and climb stairs;Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
