Clinical Learning Development Manager at our New York campus.

This is a campus-based position at our downtown Manhattan campus (financial district) with flexible work hours and the opportunity for remote work as schedule permits.

Frequent travel within the New York City metro will be required.


General Job Summary:

The Clinical Learning Development manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the clinical learning experiences for our Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students.

Primary accountabilities revolve around cultivating and nurturing partnerships with healthcare institutions across the New York City metro area.

The manager ensures students receive comprehensive and diverse clinical training opportunities by securing new clinical placements and fostering relationships with existing partners.


Essential Functions & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, including hospitals, clinics, and facilities, in the New York City metro area.
  • Collaborate with the nursing faculty to identify clinical placement needs and opportunities for student learning experiences.
  • Schedule and coordinate clinical rotations for BSN students, ensuring adherence to program requirements and accreditation/regulatory standards.
  • Secure new clinical partnerships through proactive outreach, networking, and relationshipbuilding with potential partners.
  • Expand opportunities with existing clinical partners by fostering ongoing communication and identifying areas for collaboration and growth.
  • Manage the contracting and affiliation agreement process with clinical sites, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinical partners, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during student rotations.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for nursing faculty to familiarize them with clinical sites, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align clinical placements with curriculum objectives and program goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in clinical education, and incorporate this knowledge into program development and improvement initiatives.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare partners.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to clinical education programs.
  • Sales experience in a healthcare industry (preferred)
  • Clinical practice or healthcare administration experience (preferred)

Work Environment


The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing essential functions of the job in a typical office/workstation situation.

Able to work sitting or standing at desk and operate a computer using keyboard and reading information on a monitor.

This is a New York campus-based position. Frequent travel within the New York City metro area will be required.


Salary Range:
$105, $115,000.00 annually
