The Administrative Accountant for the District Council 10 Painters and Allied Trades provides advanced administrative support to the office and in all phases of daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
Maintains and reconciles specific budgets. Maintains calendars and meetings, makes logĂstical arrangements for meetings or special events. Research information and prepare reports as requested.Coordinates and orders all office supplies purchases and makes recommendations regarding the purchase and installation of new equipment, hardware etc.

- Provide Support as need to all directors
- Maintain inventory
- Send out mailers
- Review invoices and make payments
- Complete expense reports as directed
- Answer Phones
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES TYPICALLY NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:1. 2 years' bookkeeping, accounting, or budgeting experience
2. 3 years' experience working with various standardized word and spreadsheet software
- Excellent oral and written communication, and resource management skills
- Ability to interact effectively and courteously with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds
- Must be able to work Independently and meet established or anticipated deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to Relocate:
- Houston, TX 77086: Relocate before starting work (required)
