Libertyville School District 70 is seeking applicants for an open Maintenance Technician (Electrical) position, under the Director of Facilities and Operations.
This is a full time, 12-month, 260-day position.The benefit package includes sick and personal days, vacation days, medical, dental and life insurance, and a 457 account contribution.

Qualifications:
- Ability to work with low and high voltage electrical boards and units;
- Knowledge of HVAC and HVAC controls;
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and BAS.
- Three years experience preferred
Purpose:
To maintain all school buildings in peak condition for optimal learning to occur.
Essential Functions and Performance Responsibilities:

Diagnoses and makes repairs on any mechanical equipment within the school district.
Repairs desks, tables, chairs, cleaning equipment, flooring, and broken windows.
Inspects, repairs or replaces plumbing, piping, fixtures, traps, valves, gauges, pumps, coils, gaskets, and other related work.
Makes electrical installations and repairs.
Makes minor carpentry repairs when possible and appropriate.
Responds to any emergency calls.
Performs maintenance on air conditioning and heating equipment.
Repairs roofs.
Performs preventive maintenance on controls and any other equipment; energy conservation work.
Snow plowing/salting and grass mowing.
Moves various equipment from building to building as needed.
Works as a custodial substitute when necessary.
Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by an administrator.
Pay:
$45, $65,000.00 per year
