Overview:

Under the direction of the Director of Surveillance the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the installation, testing and maintenance of surveillance and security CCTV equipment at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

Responsibilities:

Creates the work schedule for the Surveillance Technicians and delegates assignments.
Works as liaison with applicable department leaders and state regulators with regards to camera/video maintenance.
Works with a high degree of personal integrity and leadership.
Conducts performance reviews.
Interviews, trains and selects employees.
Recommends disciplinary action and/or disciplines employees.
Works a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
Works a reasonable amount of overtime when required.
Plans, supervises and monitors work.
Make required adjustments or repairs to equipment as needed and perform preventative maintenance to ensure that the system works at maximum efficiency.
Maintain surveillance and security CCTV inventory and complete the ordering of parts and materials as needed.
Keeps current on technological changes in equipment and make recommendations for upgrades, changes and modifications to equipment.
Implements preventative maintenance cleaning schedule for cameras, recorders and CCTV related equipment.
Observes all safety regulations in the performance of assigned duties and reports any safety hazards to the Director and or Risk Manager.
Performs duties and projects as assigned while meeting timelines and deadlines.

Must adhere to the regulations of the NJ DGE and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino internal controls and company policies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, college preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience is required with the installation and maintenance of CCTV systems or similar electronic equipment installation, included but not limited to PTZ (Pan, Tilt & Zoom) motorized mechanisms, cameras, recorders and matrix switch units.
Must possess physical ability to crawl, climb and maneuver oneself in a tightly cramped area without fear of height or claustrophobic tendencies.
Must be able to sit or stand for long hours observing numerous CCTV screens.
Must be able to give court testimony when required and write understandable, reports and log entries.
Must be able to work in elevated conditions on a platform and ladders and must not have a fear of heights.
Must possess the ability to work in close quarters and be able to see and also remember details of incidents and persons.
Must be able to tolerate areas with high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
