The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the overall operational efficiencies of their assigned location by providing timely insight to the management team through identifying and improving trends, ensuring budgets are met, and influencing business leaders with financial data.
In this role, you will be at the center of our operations team for Neenah, part of a national financial analyst peer network, and collaborate with our centralized corporate accounting team.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Own analyzing and reporting variances in manufacturing cost and material standards to identify improvement opportunities across the assigned locationActively participate in the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all transactions and obligations are properly recordedDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the operations finance team to improve processes and information flow, elevating the impact of all analyst roles nationallyCollaborates with peers to create tools, models, and analyses that measure key performance indicators to benchmark cost, improve site cost, and support capacity investmentsTranslate financial and accounting information into simple concepts to build the talent of all employeesPrepares annual budget and quarterly forecasts for assigned locations.
Knowledge, Skills, Or Abilities Desired
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact and influence individuals at all levels within the organizationAbility to define problems, collect data, articulate insights in a compelling way, and drive recommendations to conclusionKnowledge of finance, financial methods, tools, and strategiesKnowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports
Additional Requirements
Ability to work at the assigned production location a minimum of 3-4 days a week to build relationships with the operations team and a working knowledge of the siteStrong MS Excel Skills
