**Description**

Catholic Charities is currently looking for an **Cook** in Community Services.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Core Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve meals in conjunction with volunteers.

Plan menus, ensure apportionments and good nutrition, and ensure utilization of donated food.

Train, coach and monitor kitchen volunteers, and ensure food safety compliance.

Receive and properly store food donations.

Clean kitchen areas and equipment.

Maintain records and statistics.

Assist Dining Operations Manager with food inventory.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

1 - 2 years cooking experience in commercial kitchen/restaurant environment.

Must have valid ServSafe Food Manager Certification or obtain it within six months of employment, and must maintain certification to remain in position thereafter.

Due to essential nature of business, must have reliable means of transportation and be available for work, regardless of weather conditions.
