Capital District Regional Off-Track Betting Corporation is a public benefit corporation formed in 1971. Capital OTB provides legalized wagering on horse racing and lottery products with all profits distributed to local governments.

Across its nearly 50 years in operation, the corporation has grown to include 18 branches and more than 30 EZ Bet locations throughout New York State as well as an Advanced Deposit Wagering system allowing customers to wager on their favorite racetracks from the internet.

Capital OTB's area of operation extends from the immediate Capital District, north to the Canadian border and south to the Catskills; and encompasses the area(s) from the Massachusetts and Vermont borders to the Madison and Cortland counties in western New York.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager to ensure proper administration of facility operations.
• Supervise as well as schedule personnel to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Daily reconciliation of all branch activity while adhering to established closing procedures and corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain and balance a cash drawer.
• Selling and cashing wagering/ lottery tickets in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Prepare bank deposits as needed.
• Responsible for the proper security of corporate assets, as well as the efficiency and cleanliness of both inside and outside of the branch.
• Provide outstanding customer service and facilitate the wagering experience of our patrons.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Supervisor/Leadership experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have own reliable transportation.
• Must have schedule flexibility (Weekends/Nights/Holidays are a must)
• Experience handling cash transactions.
• Banking or teller experience is desirable.
