    Description

    Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Electromechanical Products

    Location: Northwest Houston, Hybrid Role (On-site and Remote)

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully building or revamping value streams or product lines, as well as experience with electromechanical components, equipment, or parts. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure product quality. Light travel to Europe is required as part of this position.

    Responsibilities:

    Value Stream and Product Line Optimization

    • Lead efforts to analyze, design, and implement improvements to value streams and product lines for electromechanical products.
    • Identify areas for optimization, efficiency gains, and cost reduction within manufacturing processes.
    • Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and enhance overall productivity.

    Process Improvement

    • Conduct thorough analyses of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance process efficiency, quality, and safety.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and standard operating procedures.

    Quality Assurance

    • Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Implement quality control measures to monitor and maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
    • Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.

    Supplier Collaboration

    • Collaborate with suppliers to optimize materials sourcing and procurement processes.
    • Evaluate supplier performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company objectives.

    Documentation and Reporting

    • Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
    • Generate reports and present findings to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics, process improvements, and areas for further optimization.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent field.
    • 5-15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on electromechanical products.
    • Proven track record of building or revamping a value stream or product line.
    • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex manufacturing processes and propose effective solutions.
    • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to travel internationally (light travel to Europe).
    • Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience (preferred, but not mandatory).
