Corridor Title is looking to add an experienced escrow officer to the esteemed downtown Austin, 5th Street, team.

Your ability to communicate effectively, handle complex tasks with precision, and prioritize client satisfaction will be vital to your success in this role.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct escrow transactions in a manner that is consistent with Corridor Title's values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity, and Commitment to Client Success.
  • Support their Lead Escrow Officer and Team Members as appropriate.

Essential Duties:

Include the following, however other duties may be assigned:

  • Escrow Management: Open, manage, and maintain escrow accounts for various real estate transactions, including residential sales, refinances, and transfers of ownership.
  • Document Review: Thoroughly review and verify all relevant documents, contracts, and agreements associated with each escrow transaction, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Communication: Establish and maintain clear and professional communication with all parties involved in the escrow process, including buyers, sellers, real estate agents, title department, underwriters, and lenders, to facilitate a smooth transaction.
  • Funds Handling: Oversee the secure handling and disbursement of funds during the escrow process, ensuring that all financial aspects of the transaction are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Title Clearance: Collaborate with the title department to verify property titles, identify potential issues, and resolve any titlerelated concerns that may arise during the escrow process.
  • Escrow Closing: Coordinate and conduct the escrow closing process, ensuring that all necessary documents are signed, funds are disbursed appropriately, and the transaction is successfully completed.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant industry regulations, company policies, and legal guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and confidentiality.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and address any challenges or issues that may arise during the escrow process, offering effective solutions to achieve successful transaction closures.

Experience and Skills:


  • 35 years of escrow experience
  • Experience with RamQuest is preferred, but not required.

Certificates/Licenses and/or Registrations:


  • Notary License
  • Escrow Officer License, including the ongoing continuing education and industryrelated professional development related to same.
