QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid NYS Class 4 Driver's License
  • Three years of workrelated driving experience
  • No more than one moving violation in 24 months

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Driver reports directly to the Project Cart Coordinator or Dispatcher/Computer Technician
  • Driver operates and oversees the basic maintenance and cleanliness of the van to which he/she is assigned
  • Driver obtains and follows the daily schedule
  • Driver will be courteous, respectful and helpful to clients, assisting when appropriate and insuring safe and reliable transportation services
  • Driver submits mileage and gas purchase accountability reports
  • Driver maintains all other appropriate records and forms
  • Drivers bring their vehicle to the CART office weekly where client contributions are collected from the fare box and the condition of the vehicle is checked inside and out by the dispatcher
