Duties/Responsibilities:
- Orders food for clients from a caterer daily
- Receives food deliveries, checks the temperatures and the amount received, and documents it.
- Maintains the food temperature as outlined in the FDA regulations, through proper storage in designated containers and in designated areas.
- Cuts, chops, blends, and measures prepared food for distribution (no cooking required).
- Prepares plates, bowls, cups for distribution.
- Arranges prepared food on serving trays or in designated area for retrieval by serving staff.
- Maintains and cleans kitchen area.
- Ensures food/kitchen supplies are adequately stocked.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains cleanliness of work areas, surfaces, utensils, equipment, and dishes.
- Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen.
- Safely and efficiently handle and move packages within the warehouse
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Collaborates with other staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Work hours:
Monday-Friday, 6:30 am - 2:00 pm
Pay:
$18 per hour
Pay:
$18.00 per hour

- Kitchen management: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
