Job Summary

Reporting Analysts at ARS are responsible for the creation and maintenance of all business and client reporting. Ensuring that the reporting meets the needs of the end user, is always delivered on-time, and does not have any quality issues. They will be expected to self-prioritize work based on weekly deliverables and longer-term objectives set for them and the team. The Reporting Analysts are expected to exercise their personal judgment and discretion to find best possible solutions for client requests, internal needs, and in prioritizing work in a resource constrained environment. They are not only expected to develop reporting solutions, but to drive engagements with partner groups to continually improve those reports and the deliver process through automation, process redesign, and IT investments. Additionally, the reporting analysts support the business analysis in providing data expertise and data mining capabilities to support strategic initiatives

Essential Duties

Development of new reports to meet client and internal needs
- Understand key requirements of the request(s)
- Partner with both end users and IT to ensure needs are met
- Adhere to report design principles to support sustainability
Maintenance of existing reports
- Adjust reports to align with changes in client and business needs
- Identify when reports are no longer viable and manage decommission
Driving automation and sustainability of report suite
- Aid in the migration of legacy reports to an automated and highly sustainable state
- Rebuild legacy reports as needed to meet current design principles
Support data gathering and mining needs for business analysts
- Serve as a SME of the data warehouse and understanding of what data is available, what if can and cannot be used for, and how best to pull and aggregate as needed
Data stewardship
- Serve as a layer of quality control ensuring that all reports meet our high standards of quality and accuracy
- Ensure that not only is data populating the reports, but the correct data is populating the reports in the correct fashion

Technical and/or Functional Skills & Knowledge

Proficient in SQL
Proficient in Report Builder / Visual Studio
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
Familiar with Visio

Qualifications:

Requires at least an associates degree, preferably in STEM
Experience in reporting and data analysis preferred

Compensation

The annual salary for this position will range from $ to $ based on candidate qualifications.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position, and will be required to work at the physical office location daily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a climate-controlled setting, seated continuously and is sedentary the majority of the workday. This position is in a call center with moderate to high noise levels & frequent foot traffic. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones and photocopiers. Work area stations and cubicles are close in proximity to others.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers; and have moderate reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, sit and see in order to perform close-up computer work and phone equipment, and requires close-up vision and color recognition.
