Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


1. Payroll Processing**:


  • Manage endtoend payroll processing for employees, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Process payroll adjustments, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
  • Validate timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.

2. Benefits Administration**:


  • Administer employee benefits related to payroll, including health insurance, retirement plans, and flexible spending accounts.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate deduction and reporting of benefits.
  • Stay updated on changes in benefit plans and regulations.

3. Reporting and Record-Keeping**:


  • Generate payroll reports for management, accounting, and auditing purposes.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.

4. Process Improvement**:


  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and automation to enhance payroll operations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in payroll processing.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a payroll specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
