Job Summary:


As an Estimator at Kerco, Inc., you will collaborate with senior estimators, project managers, and customers to accurately estimate HVAC & Plumbing project costs.

This role requires 4 to 5 years of experience in the field, proficiency in both computer-based estimating programs and manual blueprint take-offs, and the ability to ensure project schedules and specifications are met.

Precision, clear communication, and attention to detail are essential.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Estimation & Analysis: Accurately estimate project costs using HVAC & Plumbing expertise.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior estimators, customers, and project managers to understand project requirements.
  • Documentation: Conduct manual blueprint takeoffs and input information accurately into estimating programs.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with customers and project managers to ensure project schedules and specifications compliance.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in estimation calculations and project specifications.
  • Adaptability: Comfortably walk on uneven construction surfaces for onsite assessments, if required.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend classes as required to enhance estimation skills and stay updated with industry practices.

Qualifications:


  • Experience: 4 to 5 years in HVAC & Plumbing Estimation.
  • Skills: Proficiency in basic math, excellent oral and written English communication, and competent computer skills for estimating programs.
  • Analytical Abilities: Comfort with numbers and analytical thinking to provide accurate project estimations.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable walking on uneven construction surfaces for site assessments, if necessary.
