Hagar Enterprises is a paving and excavation contractor in Damariscotta, Maine specializing in all phases of site work, utility installation and road construction since 1987.


_ We are currently seeking positions for our 2024 paving season:_

_ Paving Equipment Operator_

_ Paving Tack Truck Driver_

_ Paving laborers_

_ Paving Supervisor_

_ Paving Superintendent_

_ Monday - Friday work schedule_

Responsibilities:


  • Willing to learn to operate Asphalt Roller and Paver.
  • Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and safety checks.
  • Fuel Equipment.
  • Assist with nonequipment operator duties such as installing pipe, compacting aggregate etc.
  • Use of various power and hand tools; including cutting tools.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:


  • A valid Maine Class C driver's license
  • Ability to pass a drug screening (not including marijuana) and a preemployment physical.
  • Ability to lift excess of fifty pounds over head.
