    School Registered Nurse (RN)

    We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a full-time school nurse near the Boulder area. This role involves working closely with a high school student, providing personalized care and support throughout the school day.     Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to work 1:1 with a high school male student who has significant seizures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in seizure care and overall neuro experience. This part-time position requires working 16 hours weekly during the hours of 11:00AM to 3:00PM on Monday. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct 1:1 care to a high school male student with significant seizures.
    • Monitor the student for seizure activity and provide immediate care and intervention as needed.
    • Administer prescribed medications and emergency treatments for seizures.
    • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
    • Communicate effectively with the student's parents, teachers, and other school staff to ensure coordinated care.
    • Participate in developing and implementing he student's Individualized Health Plan (IHP).
    • Educate and support school staff on seizure management and emergency procedures.
    • Promote a safe and inclusive environment for the student.
    Job Qualifications:
    • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Nursing
    • Must have Illinois RN/Compact License
    • Must be CPR and BLS certified
    • Previous experience in pediatrics or schools preferred.
