- Ensure mandated school health services by identifying student health needs and developing health care plans
- Monitor health trends and advocate for physical and emotional safety in the school environment
- Recommend environmental safety measures and educate on disease control methods
- Collaborate with students, families, and community health services to provide comprehensive care
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum one year of experience in pediatric, community, or school nursing
- Active Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CDE Special Skills Provider license with School Nurse endorsement
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Submitted BVSD online application
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Ability to care for special needs students
- Excellent interpersonal and teaching abilities
