Description

The Technical Product Owner on our Customer Transformation team will be instrumental in developing detailed use cases for customer data, ensuring that these initiatives align with both business objectives and privacy standards. This role involves close collaboration with the internal privacy team and external partners to design and implement data-driven strategies that leverage our customer data to enhance prospect and resident experience along with making better business decisions while maintaining compliance with data protection laws. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex projects that intersect technology, privacy, and customer data.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Managing the Backlog: Develop the product backlog, including the development of user stories, for the CRM product in collaboration with the UX Strategists, Technology Team, and other Business SMEs
2. Prioritizing Development Effort: Lead the prioritization effort with our development team(s) to ensure we are focused on the highest value features
3. Accepting User Stories: Work with the development team to test and accept completed work through the sprint process
4. Developing Business Processes: Develop, document, and improve core business processes with a focus on sales, maintenance, and renewals

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and written communication skills, and ability to drive technology and operations teams to make decisions

• Demonstrated proficiency in product management and process mapping

• Experience in Agile/Scrum/SAFe technology development environments

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other CRMs would be beneficial, but not required

• Experience writing user stories, developing product backlogs, and understanding product requirements with users

• College degree in Product Marketing, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent education, training, and experience from which comparable skills and knowledge were acquired.

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.

Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
