A Brief Overview

The CT Technologist role involves providing professional CT technical procedures/exams to patients, operating radiologic equipment, and handling associated paperwork.

Experience Qualifications

1 year CT Experience. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

Radiography - ARRT Required

Basic Life Support - BLS Required within 90 days of hire.

What you will do

Perform diagnostic CT procedures using a pressure injector and contrast administration.

Position patients and adjust immobilization devices for optimal views.

Determine exposure factors, set equipment controls, and practice radiation protection.

Perform various technical procedures with independent judgment and initiative.

Conduct equipment maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and assist in examinations.

Image processing and preparation for review by radiologist.

Office tasks including answering phones and ordering supplies.

Perform venipuncture for injections.

Participate in on-call duties.

Required for All Jobs

Perform other assigned duties.

Comply with all policies, standards, and training of Stormont Vail Health.
