Each and every one of our employees contributes to our hospital's role as a central medical provider for the city and district of Schwandorf, alongside state-of-the-art medicine and the best possible therapy.

Furthermore, St. Barbara Hospital is one of five hospitals in the Brothers of Mercy Bavaria hospital network.

BBSG GmbH is a subsidiary of the Brothers of Mercy non-profit hospital GmbH and is responsible for services in the areas of service, cleaning, and hospital catering within the hospital network.

Over 30 colleagues work in the kitchen at St. Barbara Hospital. Under the leadership of Julian Ressemann, we prepare between 250 and 300 meals daily for our patients and #heartcolleagues.

In order to secure our future workforce in the kitchen, we will be offering training for the first time in the field of cooking in Schwandorf in 2024.
