We're seeking dedicated Physical Therapists to join our team in the Fishersville Public School District.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in facilitating gross motor skills, maximizing posture, balance, and coordination, and supporting the overall well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist students in developing gross motor skills such as walking, standing, and sitting up through exercises and activities.
  • Utilize standing or seated positioning devices to enhance student performance and prevent deformities.
  • Support the development of specific motor skills required for participation in physical education classes.
  • Ensure the physical safety of students and their access to the school environment and community.
  • Help students enhance vocational and transitional skills to prepare for life beyond school.
  • Collaborate with educational teams and staff to support student development and academic success.

Qualifications

Must Have:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Pediatric experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • PT License in the State of Virginia.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
