These three hospices are now one branch of Trustbridge, a community nonprofit that provides support for families facing serious illness 24 hours a day.

Our other services include palliative medicine, caregiver support and bereavement programs.

Responsibilities:


Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (potential weekends/evenings as events require)

  • Serves as a bridge between Trustbridge and the wider Jewish community.
  • Provides education and chaplaincy services for the organization, to other chaplains, patients, families and fellow employees.
  • Develops creative and effective outreach programs across the Jewish spectrum to increase the perceived value hospice services can provide.
  • Collaborates with volunteer services to increase engagement with Jewish volunteers.
  • Collaborates with business development on a regular basis to identify opportunities for increased engagement and impact.

Qualifications:
- **Education/Regulatory Requirements**:
  • Master's degree in social work or related field.
  • Possesses a rabbinical ordination from a recognized institution.

Skills:


  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in rabbinical responsibilities.
  • Experienced in presentations to healthcare audiences
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Professional Requirements:


  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills

Language Skills:


  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
