High-quality preschool located in Watervliet is currently looking for 1 Site Monitor serving classrooms with children ages 3-5 for our next Program year (August May 2025).

Position Summary:

This position assists the staff in providing a safe environment for Head Start children. Reports to the Center Director.

Ensures children are monitored in the hallways and the exit areas and are not allowed to roam or leave the building.

Completes frequent visual safety checks of the outside grounds and playground areas to assure the safety of the staff and children.

May assist with bus loading and unloading including placing/removal of barricades. Replenishing bathroom supplies.

Education Requirement:


  • Must be over 18 for licensing
  • High School Diploma, equivalent or Head Start parent preferred.

Full-Time, Program Year (August May 2025), Hourly, Non-Exempt


Expected Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Hours: 8a-4:30p


Rate of Pay:
$15.14 per hour
