Our Client, a leading employee owned civil design consultancy is seeking a BIM Coordinator to contribute to their continuing company growth.

Project BIM Coordinator . This position can be based in

any one of the company offices

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team to deliver exceptional BIM/Information Management services to facilitate the delivery of projects.

You will support design teams and external architects in the BIM/Information Management of the design process.
The Client primarily focuses on civil infrastructure projects including:

Infrastructure:
sewer, water, storm systems; roadworks, pathways & parks

Land Development:
subdivision design, site servicing for commercial and multi-family

Institutional Buildings:
schools, care facilities, universities and sports facilities.

Responsibilities:
A highly motivated self-starter, capable of working independently with assistance from senior engineering staff. The core requirements for the role are exemplary communication skills and strong technical capabilities covering all aspects of civil design
Leading and facilitating BIM efforts for distributed multi-discipline/multi-consultant project team
Coordinating milestone deliverables for design review and/or client meetings/presentations
Governing project team use of BIM standards, best practices and protocols/workflows
Communicating project BIM regular progress updates to key project stakeholders
Managing BIM model(s) federation health and highlight discipline coordination issues

Skills & Qualifications
5+ years experience in BIM Implementation on major projects or programs
Advanced capabilities and support experience with BIM authoring and proprietary software applications such as: Revit, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Infraworks, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360), Dynamo or similar applications
Thorough knowledge of the strategic development, implementation, and delivery of BIM on a project
Experience working on various Infrastructure projects as Design Consultant or Contractor. Site supervision experience is an asset
Experience using Navisworks, Solibri Model Checker, Revizto, BIM Track, and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) to conduct visual audits and automated clash detection
Experience producing/implementing BIM Execution Plans
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a strategic team
Experience supervising and mentoring team members and providing technical support in the use of modelling software and interdisciplinary coordination
Excellent written and oral communication skills; this includes the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical staff
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective client relationships
Ability to work under pressure and concurrently on multiple deadlines.

What you bring:
Working knowledge of the processes and requirements of ISO 19650
Experience with model exchange using IFC/BCF
Experience with Procore, Aconex, or similar products
Knowledge of Revit family editing and creation
Knowledge of Plant 3D Catalogs and Specifications
Experienced in preparation of multi-discipline drawings and models with limited input from engineers.
