Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students, residents and fellows rotating through the Operating Rooms.
Clinical responsibilities may include the provision of clinical anesthesia and medical direction in the Operating Rooms and other anesthetizing locations at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include investigator-initiated and collaborative research.
In addition to excellence in teaching and clinical care, responsibilities include investigator-initiated and collaborative research.
The non-tenure Clinician Educator track involves a substantial commitment to research and evidence of continuous scholarly productivity reflecting a defined focus is required.
