Position Summary

The Manager of Field Operations will be responsible for providing analysis, planning, and operational support to the aligned Region(s).

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance and productivity data with a focus on identifying opportunities for growth and performance improvement; develop and recommend response plans.
  • Integrate all internal and external performance and productivity data to obtain a comprehensive understanding of regional / district performance and productivity.
  • Monitor progress toward regional goals and objectives.
  • Monitor regional performance and productivity objectives through the analysis of various regional metrics (i


e:

sales performance by brand and district; Sales Force Effectiveness metrics; Alliance Coordination/Collaboration; Specialty, Outlets and Payer Channel performance; etc.).

  • Assist with the alignment, development, consolidation and implementation of all components of regional business plan(s). Review the regional business plan(s) on a regular basis and recommend enhancements on an as needed basis.
  • Analyze Payer Channel performance metrics against regional/ district/ territory plan goals.
  • Develop and implement regional pull through plans and initiatives (i


e:

targeting initiatives, Blitzes, etc.).

  • Identify pull through training needs and opportunities.
  • Serve as liaison between Account Executives and DBMs on pull through plan development, resource allocation and execution; mobilize districts around opportunities.
  • Identify, allocate and track pull through resources (i


e:

Regional Flex, Access Resources, Samples, Promotional Programs, Marketing sponsored programs, etc.).

  • Serve as a liaison with other functional areas (i


e:

Marketing, Targeting and Alignment, Sales Training, Alliance Management, etc.) to discuss opportunities and/or troubleshoot regional operational issues.

  • Manage the coordination and implementation of various regional meetings (i


e:

POAs) and teleconferences.

  • Plan and coordinate Field Impact Days with target districts/ markets on an as needed basis.
  • Ensure the efficient utilization of regional allocations through the use of tools such as HCP Connect.
  • Serve as liaison between internal business partners (i


e:

Marketing) and regional management team(s) on resource allocation issues as necessary.

  • Ensure regional compliance with allocation utilization guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience

  • 3 to 5 years of pharmaceutical or relevant sales experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver on sales objectives.
  • Experience with customer base customer and market industry knowledge.
  • Successful experience working with the local sales matrix team to accomplish business objectives.
  • Strong sales performance track record.
  • Experience in supporting DBM(s) with on boarding new representatives and assisting with training, sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Understanding of the regional BMS management matrix team.
  • Skill in interpreting and using business and marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge and skill in development and execution of local sales plans that support strategic initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the sales process and selling skills.
  • Ability to impact and influence others with no direct reporting relationship.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly and to appropriately direct synthesize communications.
  • Advanced skills with Excel, PPT and Word.
