Duties:

Medications & pharmacy (including scheduled drugs)
Completes med audit & refills
Checks stock meds & supplies
Maintains med equipment
Med room organization & cleaning
Ensures delivery and assists with stocking of meds from pharmacy
Handles calls from pharmacy
Performs medication review (intake & discharge) & education with clients
Medication/waste disposal
Supervises, facilitates Recovery Advocate medication administration
Triages patient concerns and handles minor medical complaints, questions
Works with lab tech
Inputs UDS, blood results for clients
Assists with new admissions (paperwork, drug screens, vitals, heights, weights, etc.)
Patient education smoking cessation, STD's, medication safety
Sets up referral appointments (during & after treatment) & followups
Administer TB tests for clients and staff
Works with admissions to obtain medical records for clients before/after admission
Creates nursing assessment as part of patient care plan
