Job Responsibilities:
Performs system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture Provides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systemsProvides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systems Administers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirementsMonitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planningThe permanent position will work as a system administrator to support the classified programs during second shift weekdays and first shift weekendsDuring the training period, the position will directly support one of our other classified areas in the region during the first shift, weekdaysYou will train with, and support, our F-15/F-18 Mission Systems, Flight Sim, or St Charles programsPerforms system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architectureProvides problem resolution and technical support for delivery systemsProvides support for the design, validation and configuration management of computing delivery systemsAdministers users system access and works to protect information to meet security requirementsMonitors system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning
Basic Qualifications:
Active CompTIA Security certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive Certification Requirements)3 years of experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems (Server , Windows 10)3 years of experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting3 years of experience working within the DoD Risk Managed Framework (RMF)3 years of experience with maintaining and configuring Active Directory (AD)Willing to work weekends as needed upon conversion to direct hireActive Secret ClearanceEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.
gBachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.
gPhD, Master 3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Active Top Secret clearance5 years of experience with a broad range of basic systems and application support5 years of experience with maintaining/configuring AD to include applying domain group policies5 years of experience with PowerShell and Linux scripts to enable consistent, high-quality integration of hardware assets5 years of experience with scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems5 years of experience creating and maintaining multiple virtual servers based on VMware5 years of experience evaluating and effectively communicating complex system problems and resolution5 years of experience Integrating security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
