Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the distribution center, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and maintain quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing carrying costs and obsolescence.
- Implement inventory management systems and procedures for accurate tracking, replenishment, and cycle counting.
- Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and service agreements.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and responsiveness, and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and delivery.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to gather insights and improve service levels.
Requirement:
- Experience in warehouse management, preferably in the food distribution industry.
- Strong organizational and problemsolving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and operational demands in a fastpaced environment.
