    The CWMF Family-Owned Manufacturer of Asphalt Plant Equipment in St. Cloud

    Salary Range: $55,000-$68,000

    CWMF, a family-owned manufacturer of asphalt plant equipment established in St. Cloud since 1968, has seen considerable growth over the last five years, making it a highly desirable workplace.     Overview

    The Level I Accounting Associate role involves a range of accounting responsibilities, focusing on either Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Payroll utilizing ERP software. The position requires a solid grasp of accounting principles (GAAP) along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and handling complex and confidential data.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Primary emphasis on Accounts Payable tasks.
    • Inputting weekly AP invoices, cross-checking with packing slips and PO receipts.
    • Processing weekly AP check payments or ACH transfers.
    • Regular review and reconciliation of AP aging reports, with vendor communication as necessary.
    • Compiling and organizing required AP documentation (W9 and COI).
    • Handling monthly credit card statements and expense reporting using Certify.
    • Assisting with processing cash receipts when needed.
    • Reconciling GL accounts as required.
    • Addressing accounting inquiries through data research.
    • Supporting month-end procedures.
    • Completing various administrative tasks like scanning, printing, copying, and mailing.
    • Ordering office and breakroom supplies as requested.
    • Undertaking receptionist responsibilities such as answering phones and welcoming guests.
    • Performing other assigned office duties.

    Education and Experience Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field – Mandatory
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting – Preferred
    • Minimum of 3+ years of accounts payable experience
    • Strong computer systems skills – Required; experience with ERP Systems is a plus
