Overall Accountability:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Risk Management Department for collections of loans and prevention of losses.
  • Provide for the administration of the credit union's insurance programs.
  • Complete crosstraining as needed for job functions within the Risk and Card Division/Analyst team and all tasks as needed.
  • Must be proficient in 3 of other Risk and Card division functions outside of normal duties.
Required Qualifications

High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Knowledge of computers and the ability to type 25 words per minute. Ability to read, write, speak and use proper grammar in English. Ability to skip trace, work a collections queue and work with other financial institutions. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to internal customers and vendors. Ability to communicate verbally both in person and on the telephone. Ability to define problems. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Preferred Qualifications

One-year experience in a financial institution, customer service, Teleservices or related field.


Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Frequently required to sit; use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate with ringing phones, printers and foot traffic.

Pay:
$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
