Overview:
Pay range for this position is $45.73-$56.11. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.


Limited Weekend Requirements

  • Selfscheduled per 6 week plotter
0-4 years of RN Experience = 4 Weekend Shifts

4-10 years of RN Experience = 3 Weekend Shifts

10-15 years of RN Experience = 2 Weekend Shifts

15+ years of RN Experience = No weekend Shifts

***: The RN Peds Intermediate Clinical Resource Team (CRT) Peds Float Pool provides the highest level of care for Peds patients throughout the inpatient stay within OSF HealthCare. The RN is empowered to participate in an interdisciplinary approach to meet the expectations of those we serve, floats to 3 OSF facilities across the level of care. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care provided to patients throughout the system. The RN must be highly knowledgeable and possess strong nursing skills necessary to provide excellent patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served within their RN specialty.


Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Licenses/Certifications:

  • RN-Registered Nurse
  • BLS, PALS and NRP from the American Heart Association

Experience:

  • 2 years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting, with at least one of those years in Peds

Other skills/knowledge:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
