    Summary:
    Serving as a General Engineer in the Air Traffic Organization, Western Service Area, Technical Services-AJW-W2


    Duties:

    • Serving as the NAS Implementation Manager, acting as the main point of contact for coordinating NAS projects and activities between different stakeholders such as Headquarters, airport user groups, and government entities.
    • Planning and executing complex projects and programs independently or as part of a team, providing technical expertise for large-scale activities and ensuring smooth integration of NAS operations.
    • Reviewing and analyzing engineering plans for NAS modernization projects, addressing maintainability issues, and developing risk mitigation strategies.
    • Utilizing engineering knowledge and new technologies to solve intricate problems and enhance technical processes within the organization.
    • Coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders, preparing briefings, and facilitating project prioritization within the Tech Ops District.
    • Allocating resources effectively to meet organizational objectives, validating Life Cycle Management needs, and ensuring project funding aligns with District strategies.
    • Representing FAA in senior technical roles, communicating project outcomes internally and externally, and collaborating with external organizations on technical initiatives.
