Maintenance Technician II, you will be trusted to maintain process knowledge and perform all operations in compliance with applicable regulations and standard operation procedures atour
Manufacturing Facility in Houston, Texas

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Monitoring daily activities in department and updates supervisor of all safety, equipment or other related issues.
  • Coordinating activities to complete required preventive maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintaining appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
  • Locating and diagnose failures, replacing defective components, and performing basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and written instructions.
  • Using a variety of hand, power, and test tools and equipment.
  • Involving working w/equipment that uses hazardous chemicals and wearing selfcontained breathing apparatus (SCBA) while performing certain tasks and in emergency response situations.
  • Must possess excellent safety awareness and strictly adhere to all safety requirements. Expected to fill in for other techs during planned vacations includes working night and weekend shifts.

What you'll bring to Alcon:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience

Shift (10 hours):
Thursday - Sunday, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM CST
