The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany.

Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a specialist in rail operations (m/f/d) for RVS Regionalbusverkehr Südwest at our location in Offenburg.


What to expect during your apprenticeship:

  • You will learn how to operate buses and obtain a Class D driver's license
  • Provide customer service for transportation connections and fares
  • Familiarize yourself with planning and managing vehicle and personnel deployment
  • Implement advertising measures
  • Learn about the technical aspects of different bus models


As a trained specialist in rail operations, you will primarily work in the control center and be responsible for personnel and vehicle scheduling.


Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education and are at least 17 years old
  • You are interested in technology
  • You can remain calm and maintain an overview even in difficult situations
  • You value service and safety
  • You are flexible and reliable
  • It is advantageous if you have a Class B driver's license
