Job Description and Duties
The Staff Physician, Pediatrician postion serves as member of a transdisciplinary assessment team in the provision of medical information, student evaluations, diagnostic/ treatment plans and /or training services to local educational agencies (LEAs), including delivery of educationally relevant medical information regarding diagnoses, planning and impact of diagnoses on student learning for students with any disabling condition(s). Specific training services may include technical assistance and/or presentation of professional development activities for LEA staff and parents.

Working Conditions
Will work in a temperature-controlled environment with lighting, predominantly sit (or sit/stand) at desk during normal working hours to perform daily duties, and may be required to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.May be required to bend, squat, kneel, stoop, or sit on ground when working with and assessing students. May be required to drive state fleet vehicles or sit in vehicles with coworkers when going to/from school districts or assessment sites. Overnight stay may be required.Special Requirements
