    Location: Long Beach, CA 90915

    Hours: Full Time; Non-Exempt; M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM (Onsite)

    Pay: $20-$25 an hour + Monthly bonus opportunity

    Founded in 2015, the Food Allergy Institute (FAI) is a cutting-edge research and clinical care center revolutionizing food allergy treatment among the pediatric population. Our Tolerance Induction ProgramTM is the first of its kind, bringing patients to the point where they can eat whatever they want, whenever they want, without having to worry about any kind of reaction. We have collected more than a trillion data points that allow us to use mathematics and analytics to best understand how we can treat patients with anaphylactic food allergies in the safest way possible.

    Who Are We Looking For?

    We seek an adaptable, compassionate, and dynamic individual to join our pediatric allergy clinic as an Enrollment Specialist. The core responsibility of the role is to assist parents of patients as they navigate our enrollment process to becoming a client. You will serve as a subject-matter expert for the program, answering questions for prospective parents of patients as well as following up with families that have previously enrolled.

    Essential Functions:

    • Demonstrate a positive and resourceful approach to problem-solving, bring fresh ideas to the table, ability to manage complexity with deadlines, ability to maintain confidentiality, and excited about expanding our impact through communications.
    • Serves as subject-matter expert for the Food Allergy Institute's Tolerance Induction Program and the enrollment process.
    • Manage incoming & make outbound inquiries to parents of patients explaining the effectiveness of our program and its potential impact.
    • Develops strong relationships with prospective parents of patients to build trust and rapport.
    • Accurately documents interactions with prospective patients to ensure timely and appropriate follow-up communication.
    • Assist other personnel and departments with data collection and problem solving.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • A passion to serve our patients and their families as they seek to achieve their "food freedom" goals.
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Strong presentation skills.
    • Customer service or sales experience preferred.
    • High level capacity to multitask independently and on a computer.
    • Excellent typing skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to perform in a high volume, fast paced call center environment.
    • Proven ability to work independently as well as a productive member of a team.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management focus.
