General Description


The Children's Treatment Coordination Supervisor is directly responsible for oversight of case coordination of services within the Home Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS) and Personal Assistance Service and Supports (PASS) programs, which includes proactive planning, quality assurance, outcome-oriented services.

Some core tasks include staff supervision, training, and program monitoring as outlined in each program's State of Rhode Island Agency Certification Regulations.


The Children's Treatment Coordination reports directly to and receives weekly and/or as needed support and supervision from The Director of Children's Services.

The Children's Treatment Coordination works in accordance with the policies and procedures of The Arc of Bristol County, Inc d.b.a.

proAbility, The State of Rhode Island's Department of Human Services, and all other funding sources to oversee and coordinate individualized services to children with special healthcare needs and their families.


Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in related field of study

3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities (preferred)

1 year of experience working as a HBTS/PASS Treatment Coordinator (preferred)

Experience in advocacy for individuals with disabilities

Safe driving record, current driver's license and motor vehicle insurance

This position includes the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities are based upon the needs of the individuals for whom the person supports, and may vary depending upon the person's presenting needs and goals.


Responsibilities:


  • Protect the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental and other disabilities and extend these rights and dignities to family members or guardians.
  • Uphold and comply with all agency policies and safety programs to maintain a safe work environment for employees, individuals, family members, and visitors. Adhere to all other agency guidelines and department specific policies
  • Comply with State regulations regarding referrals and intakes, implementing state and agency intake policies to respond to a request for services.
  • Represent The Arc of Bristol County/proAbility in the community by representing the agency in a positive and supportive manner within the community and with the individuals and families we support.
  • Oversee case files and review case plans and progress reports for quality assurance and to adhere to state regulations regarding Record Management. Oversee submission deadlines and ensure timely submission of all new plans, renewal plans, and progress notes.
  • Recruit and train staff in accordance with agency and state policies and procedures. In collaboration with the Director, provide staff training, mentoring, performance evaluation and disciplinary action as appropriate to specific services (HBTS/PASS).
  • Provide quality assurance/oversight to the delivery of coordination services for individuals in HBTS and PASS programs.
  • Commit to organizational quality initiatives by participating in programs that will enhance treatment services, improve team processes, which includes but is not limited to regular attendance at staff meetings.
  • Supervise assigned direct support staff including training, scheduling, discipline, and performance reviews. Maintain accuracy and timeliness in the review of time taken (sick, vacation, etc.) and submission of supervised staff mileage and timesheets on a weekly/bi-weekly basis.
  • Meet with staff regarding individual plan(s) of service. Conduct monthly (minimum) home visits with each family on caseload. Ensure that treatment coordinators are completing tasks in a timely and efficient manner and attending home visits on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain Children's Services database, oversee deadlines, and ensure adherence to state and agency policies and regulations.
  • Maintain treatment records for all assigned individuals in accordance with agency policies and state regulations. Ensure Treatment Coordinators are properly maintaining client files/records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay:
$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
