The Phlebotomy Technician is responsible for accurately performing and processing Point of Care Testing (POC), venous and capillary blood collection from adults, infants, and children.
Responsibilities
- Collects bloodand/or perform POC as assigned
- Cleans and re-stocks POC supplies
assists coworkers with draws
Draws venous or capillary blood - Drawing venous or capillary blood li Completes clerical functions associated with POC testing documents. Sends reports up incidents/issues regarding patients employees timely group leader supervisor
