Architecture firm seeking-full time, in-person, Full-Charge Bookkeeper.

Position:
Full Charge Bookkeeper


Responsibilities:


  • Accounts Receivable
  • Followup with internal and external parties to create invoices and ensure final billings are received on time
  • Manage proposal process additional services on contracts in hand
  • Accounts Payable
  • Review vendor statements and address any discrepancies
  • Review of bills annually to look for potential cost savings
  • Human Resources
  • Process payroll
  • Maintain employee files on server, in Ajera & provider websites;
  • Administration and maintenance of employee benefits
  • Employee onboarding and offboarding
  • Ensure completion of timesheets are done accurately and on time
  • General accounting activities for the company
  • Recording daytoday financial transactions and completing the posting process
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
  • Provide updates to Controller on status of firm's finances.
  • Compliance
  • Assist in Yearend audit
  • Maintain vendor files and process 1096/1099s annually
  • Insurance
  • Contracts
  • Report directly to Controller and Principal
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned

Desired Skills:


  • Bachelor's Degree a must
  • 35 years of relevant experience with A&E; government client a plus
  • Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills, proficiency in ERP Software, Deltek's Ajera software experience a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate positive interaction with clients and vendors for accurate and complex billing structures
  • Familiarity with employee benefit administration
  • Able to work independently to meet deadlines
  • A "cando", positive attitude; proactive and resourceful
  • Highly efficient and responsible, very detailed oriented and organized
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to take direction well
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills and ability to gain cooperation of others
  • Willingness to streamline current processes and implement improvements

$65, $75,000.00 per year
