Position:
Full Charge Bookkeeper
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable
- Followup with internal and external parties to create invoices and ensure final billings are received on time
- Manage proposal process additional services on contracts in hand
- Accounts Payable
- Review vendor statements and address any discrepancies
- Review of bills annually to look for potential cost savings
- Human Resources
- Process payroll
- Maintain employee files on server, in Ajera & provider websites;
- Administration and maintenance of employee benefits
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Ensure completion of timesheets are done accurately and on time
- General accounting activities for the company
- Recording daytoday financial transactions and completing the posting process
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Enter data, maintain records and create reports and financial statements
- Provide updates to Controller on status of firm's finances.
- Compliance
- Assist in Yearend audit
- Maintain vendor files and process 1096/1099s annually
- Insurance
- Contracts
- Report directly to Controller and Principal
- Perform ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree a must
- 35 years of relevant experience with A&E; government client a plus
- Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills, proficiency in ERP Software, Deltek's Ajera software experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate positive interaction with clients and vendors for accurate and complex billing structures
- Familiarity with employee benefit administration
- Able to work independently to meet deadlines
- A "cando", positive attitude; proactive and resourceful
- Highly efficient and responsible, very detailed oriented and organized
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to take direction well
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills and ability to gain cooperation of others
- Willingness to streamline current processes and implement improvements

Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
