Description

The Department of Labor is in need of a qualified and experienced Installation Supervisor who will be in charge of the operation and maintenance of the equipment, systems, and infrastructure of the facilities of the department.

The Supervisor of Installation will be in charge of a team of technicians and contractors to make sure that the installations will be carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the regulations and standards.

This position calls for the ability to lead, the knowledge of the technical expertise, and the project management skills to organize complicated installation projects in a diverse and changing environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Participate in all project planning meetings to ensure a complete understanding of the schedule and services required.
  • Be present at the project site to oversee all installation efforts and to coordinate work between trades on site.
  • Be aware of all access requirements and coordinate prior to the time of work.
  • Report any onsite issues or delays to the project team in a timely manner.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience supervising office space installations.
  • Knowledge of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), interior design services, transition services/move planning and coordination, and other ancillary services/products.

$103, $108,244.00 per year
