:Shipping Associate
1st Shift
$2,500 Signing Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Pick, package, and load various orders throughout the day.
- Determine the best method of processing customer orders.
- Package items as per customer requirements and create shipping labels, identifying shipping information on cartons.
- Effectively communicate with all departments related to the task at hand for effective processing.
- Post weights and shipping charges and affix postage.
- Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality and national standards of shipping bestpractices.
- Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Operate powered industrial trucks or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Must feel comfortable after training on all hand tools, nail gun, circular, reciprocating and chop saws.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:
00 am - 4:
30 pm

Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification.
