Shipping Associate

1st Shift

$2,500 Signing Bonus

Responsibilities:

Pick, package, and load various orders throughout the day.
Determine the best method of processing customer orders.
Package items as per customer requirements and create shipping labels, identifying shipping information on cartons.
Effectively communicate with all departments related to the task at hand for effective processing.
Post weights and shipping charges and affix postage.
Maintain excellent service by following organization standards of quality and national standards of shipping bestpractices.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Operate powered industrial trucks or uses hand truck to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
Must feel comfortable after training on all hand tools, nail gun, circular, reciprocating and chop saws.

Pay:

$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:
00 am - 4:
30 pm

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification.
