Description
Our company is a leading supplier of home têxtiles in the U.S. with a broad customer base in brick and mortar and e-commerce. Our corporate office is located in Great Neck, NY. This position is on-site at our Great Neck Office.

We are seeking a dynamic team player that is responsible for overseeing all photography processes and maintenance. This position also provides support for package proofing and any other necessary packaging tasks/projects.

The Assistant Project & Image Asset Manager works closely with the Sales, Merchandising and Creative teams both domestically and overseas.

Communication with our office in China requires Mandarin proficiency or fluency. This position is on-site in our Great Neck, NY office. In-office days are Monday through Thursday with every Friday as a work from home option. Full benefits are available.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Create styling direction for all images
  • Submit all photo request forms to China
  • Download all images from China FTP
  • Inspect each photo against with fabric swatches to ensure color accuracy (initial shots and all revisions); provide feedback as needed
  • Send comments on each shot to China
  • Update and monitor the photo tracking sheet
  • Perform other photography and packaging assignments as required

PROBLEM SOLVING & DECISION MAKING:


  • Strong timeline management skills in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Effective communication of project plans to ensure proper execution.
  • Ability to organize projects, plan deadlines, prioritize and maintain due dates.
  • Conduct post project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements to help streamline processes in the future.
  • Knowledge of current interior design and photography trends.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 35 years of experience in a related field.
  • Mandarin proficiency
  • Mandarin fluency is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problemsolving skills.
  • Comfortable in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Creative Services Director


JOB SPECIFICS:


  • Fulltime position
  • Salary commensurate with experience

Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
