    Systems Engineer Staff - Level 4

    In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of training requirements and implementation of courseware to instruct Aircrew/Mission Planner functions, including simulation and scenarios used for customer training.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for developing highly creative training courses for existing and new systems. The ideal candidate will provide all aspects of aircrew training to the customer personnel at various locations.


    The successful candidate must have experience in utilizing technology-based multimedia applications applying both innovative concept and methodologies and technical skills, using multiple media tools for development of applicable courseware to include latest research trends in graphic design, software and training development techniques.

    Demonstrate Implementation of latest instructional design trends in graphic applicable training aids such as:
    flight simulators and various applicable part task training devices.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • BS STEM (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering or related technical degree)
    • Experience with planning, developing, and facilitating training.
    • Experience with mission planning, execution, and debriefing.
    • Must be a US Citizen.

    Desired Skills:

    • Technical understanding of mission systems/subsystems, mission execution concepts, communications and ground control elements, requirements management.
    • Understanding of technical principles, theories, and operational employment concepts.
    • Understanding and application of Naval Aviation Maintenance Programs and Policies.
    • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

    Security Clearance Statement:
    This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level:
    Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

    The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

    The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules:
    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
