    JOB SUMMARY

    Primary focus of this position will be to coordinate and manage QA lab activities, and provide oversight and support for other activities relating to conformance to AS9100 certification. The position requires independent analysis, while exercising judgment, and must possess a detailed
    knowledge of quality procedures. This position will receive minimal supervision in a well-structured environment.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise QA lab Technicians and coordinate and manage QA lab activities.
    • Ensure ordering of lab supplies, including chemicals meets operating demands of the lab.
    • Oversee the gage and equipment calibration system and manage its daily use, maintenance, and functionality.
    • Assist in Measurement System Analysis (Gage R&R) activities.
    • Coordinate the material review board meeting and reporting process.
    • Oversee quality system auditing and provide training and support for the other auditors.
    • Assist in the corrective action process.
    • Oversee the Certificate of Analysis system.
    • Work with the Purchasing dept. to ensure the effectiveness of the supplier evaluation system.
    • Submit the monthly spreadsheet of quality issues to corporate QA.
    • Perform basic quality techniques to track, analyze, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure the meet the company's quality standards are met.
    • Provide support/ backup for these and other activities relating to T.A's quality system.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of a two-year AA or AS degree preferred.
    • Completion of lead auditor certification preferred.
    • Supervisory experience preferred.
