We have three (3) Retail locations in Pennsylvania, five (5) in Texas, two (2) in Florida and soon to be more.


Summary:


What can you expect as a MS Dynamics AX Developer with Cigars International?

  • Responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle (mainly in Microsoft Dynamics AX and in.
NET) including design and planning, development, unit testing, QA testing, installation, configuration, and deployment.

  • Support and improve an AX 2012 R3 ERP, using SQL, X++, and C#.NET
  • Support all phases from planning to deploy of future releases of retail POS software and components.
  • Write performant SQL stored procedures and propose database designs as required.
  • Coordinate with business users to gather requirements.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects to achieve business needs on time.
  • Continually develop skills to stay current with best practices and technologies.
  • Actively participate in ongoing design and architecture discussions
  • Provide mentoring and architecture/development advice to other members of the team.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):

  • 5+ years of development experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX using X++ and MorphX IDE
  • Microsoftstack development:NET, C#, MSSQL, IIS, WCF
  • Experience and strong working knowledge across the Retail and Commerce and supporting modules.
  • Knowledge of the following systems a plus
  • Retail implementation of Dynamics AX 2012 R
  • Online / Brick & Mortar channel configuration
  • POS Architecture and configuration
  • Payment processing
  • 3+ years in a retail / distribution environment
  • Demonstrated capabilities in evaluating retail processes and recommending improvements.
  • T-SQL or comparable relational database development skills
  • Visual Studio 2017 and up
  • Team Foundation Services
  • GIT
  • JIRA Ticketing
  • A passion for technology and programming
  • Selflearner and willing to learn new skills and tools on the job as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to succinctly convey technical and logical questions and answers.
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and find solutions to challenges.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to work regular work hours Monday through Friday.
