The Atlantic is a nostalgic 62-room motel located in Southampton. We are recently under new ownership and management, and we are looking to grow our dynamic guest services team


Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkin process.
• Provide accurate and uptodate information about the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations.
• Manage guest reservations, including checkins, checkouts, and room assignments, utilizing the hotel's property management system.
• Process payments, invoices, and other financial transactions accurately, following established procedures.
• Maintain and update guest records, ensuring their confidentiality and accuracy.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
• Assist in managing room inventory, making sure rooms are properly cleaned and prepared for new arrivals.
• Provide excellent concierge services as needed.
• Ensure the lobby area is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Stay updated on hotel policies, procedures, and special promotions to effectively communicate them to guests.
• Attend to emergency situations calmly and follow established procedures for guest safety and security.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (preferred)
• 1+ years of hospitality experience (preferred)
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (a must)
• Must have a great attitude, and be motivated to work quickly and efficiently

From $20.00 per hour

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Every weekend
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
