Senior Computer User Support Specialist

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $35-$38/hr + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Job Description:


Provide desktop support for delivery of 24/7/365 IT technical support to approved seat service USACE end users at 1650 different CONUS and OCONUS locations and sites to ensure proper configuration, installation, and maintenance of data input/output devices to include 40,000 laptops/tablets/workstations, 13,000 mobile devices, 32,000 VOIP devices, monitors, printers, scanners, copiers, cabling, external data storage devices, and network interface devices.

Computer User Support Specialist - Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, or via telephone or electronically.

May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.


Qualifications:

Required Skills:


  • Must be a US Citizen w/ active Secret Security Clearance

  • COVID19:

  • Education: AA/AS (relevant experience may substitute education)
  • Years of Experience: 68 Years
  • IAT Level 1 Certification or higher (example: A+ CE, Network+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, SSCP)

Desired Skills:

  • Address end user IT incident tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking asking targeting questions to diagnose problems.
  • Provide leadership and guidance, ensure ontime delivery, and execute all aspects of desktop technical assistance and support.
  • Ensure timely restoral and proper maintenance of USACE laptops/tablets/workstations and peripheral devices.
  • Provide recommendations on lifecycle replacement of equipment and support fullasset management lifecycle from acquisition to disposition IAW USACE policies.
  • Support daytoday logistics of deploying integrated solutions, including scheduling, provisioning, imaging, patching, securing, sanitizing, testing, tracking, distribution, storage, and transportation of assets.
  • Provide support for USACE COOP activities and USACEapproved training for new technology deployment at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Identify, log and track user issues, software conflicts and hardware device conflicts through IT incident ticketing system; provide resolution and/or escalate for assistance.
  • Provide daytoday technical guidance and desktop technical support assistance to team members. Update and maintain a knowledge base for investigating, diagnosing, and resolving incidents as applicable.

$ $38.00 per hour
